PT3.3s: cosmetic bug: splash screen

In some display transitions (turning browses or header frames on/off), the splash screen content ("Brought to you by the OpenEdge experts at...") reappears on the screen until the end of the refresh interval. E.g.: after the initial screen appears and is populated with data, hit "U" for single user stats; splash screen info appears for a second or so. Hit "U" again, it appears again for a bit. Did something change with the hiding of the splash screen frame?

Hmm, something must have changed. I'll take a peek.

I'm guessing that you don't gaze upon the beauty of the splash screen for the full glorious 20 seconds. What do you do to move along to the fun stuff? Control-C? F4? GO? Space-bar?

@tom Wasn't it 10 seconds? Did it recently get twice as glorious? When I bypass it, I press spacebar.

Yes, I thought it might be nice to give people more time to read the tips. Spacebar should be fine, that is what I usually do. F1 or GO will pick another tip and restart the timer I have not been able to reproduce the behavior that you describe. I will keep my eyes out for it though.

@tom said in PT3.3s: cosmetic bug: splash screen: I have not been able to reproduce the behavior that you describe. I seem to have a talent for that.
